Floaties – an education in water safety.
Floaties products were originated in Australia over 40 years ago as a consequence of the near drowning of the son of the developer Klaus Maertin. Floaties quickly became an Australian icon and rapidly was embraced by the world. It is the legacy of this primary driver of invention which remains with us today and motivates today’s brand custodians to pursue our mission of education in water safety. We will carry our message through as many worldwide forums and educational platforms as is necessary to achieve this goal. We believe that primarily through the education of parents Floaties we will heighten awareness that any water environment be it the bath, pond, stream, pool, lake or the sea presents an opportunity for play and fun rather than an environment for a disaster. Fun and play in these water environments, given the proper education in due care practices, can be richly rewarding and will enhance the self-esteem of the participant. Learning to swim is one of the most important skills our children can master, It is a life skill! As loving and caring custodians of our children’s future, we all want to be sure they're safe in the water, while still having fun and gaining self assurance. From first splash to confident swimmer Floaties is arguably the pre-eminent specialist range of water confidence products in the world. The Floaties unique water confidence system, provides at least one product for every age and every stage of the learning process. Only through education can we achieve our mission, we welcome the entire world to join us in our efforts.
